How do I know if I have a low nose bridge?
To break it down, the nose bridge is the bony part of your nose that's between your eyes or just below it.
Easiest way to determine if you have a low nose bridge is to use your finger to determine where this bony part of your nose starts. There will be a little bit of a dip or an angle at the top of the nose.
Look straight in the mirror, and if this starting point is in-line or below the pupils, you have a low nose bridge!
What are Asian Fit sunglasses? Are they the same as Low Bridge Fit sunglasses?
Asian Fit sunglasses are essentially the same as Low Bridge Fit sunglasses. Both terms are used interchangeably in the eyewear industry to describe sunglasses that are designed to provide a more comfortable and secure fit for individuals with facial features that differ from the standard fit typically found in eyewear. These features commonly include:
- Lower Nose Bridges: Low Bridge Fit sunglasses have a design that accommodates lower nose bridges by incorporating taller nose pads. This helps the sunglasses sit properly on the face without slipping down.
- Higher Cheekbones: The frames are often slightly curved or have modified lens angles to prevent the bottom of the sunglasses from resting on the cheeks.
- Flatter Facial Contours: The curvature of the frame is adjusted to better fit faces with flatter profiles, ensuring the sunglasses sit closer to the face without creating gaps.
I have a taller nose bridge. Can I still wear August Friday sunglasses?
If the sunglasses feel good on your face, by all means, go ahead! We offer free shipping and hassle-free 14-day returns to make it easy for you to try them out.
But because our sunglasses are specifically designed for lower and narrower nose bridges, some with taller and more prominent nose bridges have found that our sunglasses sit a bit high and pinch the nose, while others found it perfectly comfortable. It's not an exact science and everyone's facial features are different, so we encourage you to try them out with our free shipping and returns.
What are polarized lenses?
Polarized lenses are specialized lenses designed to reduce glare from reflective surfaces, improve visual clarity, and reduce eye fatigue. The lenses have a special film that blocks intense, horizontally polarized light, which is commonly associated with glare.
They're especially recommended where sunlight often bounce off horizontal surfaces or where there is excessive light such as water activities, snow activities, and driving.
Do you make prescription sunglasses?

Orders
What do I do if I received a faulty item?
If you’ve received a damaged or faulty item in your order, please email hello@augustfriday.com as soon as possible with photos of the defect so we can help resolve this for you.
Where is my order confirmation email?
If you haven't received an order confirmation email within a few minutes of placing your order, please check your junk email or spam inbox.
There is a chance we may be experiencing a technical glitch.
If you still haven't received your email after 30 minutes, please email us at hello@augustfriday.com and we'll work to get things sorted as soon as possible.
Can I make a change to an existing order?
Orders can be changed prior to it being shipped, but only for a small period of time. Please contact hello@augustfriday.com as soon as possible.
Shipping and Returns
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
We do our best to ship out orders withing 48 hours. We expect your order in the continental U.S. to be delivered in 3 to 5 business days from ship date.
What is your return policy?
Items may be returned for a refund within 14 days of delivery, provided they are in new condition with all original packaging (including the sunglasses slip covers, cleaning cloths, and boxes).
To initiate a return, please contact us within 14 days from the delivery date.
The refund amount may be proportionally reduced if the merchandise shows signs of excessive visible wear, damage, or is missing original packaging. We only accept returns from within the U.S.
Return Fee:
- Refund to Original Payment Method: There is a $6 return shipping fee, which will be deducted from the order amount.
- Store Credit or Exchange: The return shipping fee is waived.
How can I exchange an item?
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Where is my refund?
You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been completed. Once your return has been received and weighed by the carrier, please allow up to 5 business days for it to be processed. Once you receive a refund notification, the refund will show on your credit card in a few days.
